Merav Sharon – ISST certified sex therapist
- Graduated two year program of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) in the University of Haifa.
- Masters in Social Work (specialization in child and adolescent therapy) – Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
- Prior to being a sex therapist, worked for 10 years as a social worker.
- Two year internship in the Unit for Sex therapy – Meir Hospital (Kfar Saba).
- Three month internship in the Unit for Sex therapy – Ichilov Hospital (Tel-Aviv).
- One year internship in a private clinic of Dr. Ronit Aloni (Sex therapy, Sexual Rehabilitation and Surrogate therapy) in order to learn how to work with surrogates in order to help my clients who need this option as part of their therapy.
- Certified as a sex therapist by the ISST ( Israeli Society for Sex Therapy) since 2006.
- Works in a private clinic in Ra'anana.
- Between 2007-2014 worked as a sex therapist of Kupat Cholim Clalit in the Center for Women's Health (Kfar Saba).
- Was ISST prior secretary and volunteered in the ISST committee for four years.
- Co-director in the forum (sex-noar (adolescents and sexuality) in the site www. beok.co.il)
- Fluent English and Hebrew, Spanish as a second language, basic French.
- Completing my required supervision in order to received my certification from The Israeli Association of Cognitive and Behavioral Psychotherapy in Cognetica clinic in Tel-Aviv. In order to do so, I receive clients for CBT in my private clinic in Ra'anana.
